The Legacy Project’s 2-hour public television documentary, Becoming California, will screen at the 2015 Los Angeles Harbor International Film Festival (LAHIFF). The 12th annual LAHIFF will be held April 9-12, 2015 at the vintage art deco movie palace Warner Grand Theatre in historic downtown San Pedro.
Becoming California, which made its television broadcast debut last September 2014, will be featured at the festival’s DocSunday program at 4 pm on April 12.
The LAHIFF has presented evocative programming for eleven years and has built a reputation as a significant cultural event attracting an audience from the harbor and southern California regions.
The goal of the screening is to stimulate interest and build awareness about our environmental future in an educational yet entertaining atmosphere. The program will include a panel discussion and informative conversation with Dr. Betsy McLane, members of the Becoming California production team, and representatives of participating environmental, ecological and historical organizations.
